Akilan Arumugham, M.D. is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Radiologist. Dr. Arumugham completed medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and his radiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Arumugham also completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Special areas of interests include: Interventional Oncology, Uterine Fibroids, Pediatric Interventions, IVC filters, Hepatobiliary interventions. Dr. Arumugham has expertise in specific procedures and is an authorized user for Sirpheres Yttrium-90.
